MakeMeStar (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the MakeMeStar mobile application and website (makemestar.app). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email, mobile number, password (hashed)
- Profile data: location, skills, studio details, photos you upload
- Transaction data: payment references (we do not store full UPI/card numbers)
- Device data: FCM push token for notifications
- Usage data: bookings, projects, bids, chat messages related to the service
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To process bookings, projects, and payments
- To send transactional notifications (booking, payment, chat)
- To improve safety, prevent fraud, and comply with law
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:
- Other users as needed for bookings/projects (e.g. studio name, contact after payment)
- Service providers (hosting, notifications) under confidentiality
- Authorities if required by law
4. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed. Access is restricted. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
5. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting us. You can also delete your account from the app settings where available.
6. Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use means acceptance of the updated policy.
